The tattoo machines we use are high quality tattoo machines imported from UK, USA & Germany. The needles are imported from UK and USA. These are disposable sterilized (EO Gas) needles for 1 time use only. We only use non-toxic, pure organic pigments (water or oil based) which are 100% safe on the human skin with no known side-effects. These are handpicked and personally bought by us from Europe and UK to ensure authenticity and best quality.

Vikas Malani : Founder, Sr. artist
As a young kid, Vikas enjoyed scribbling and sketching random designs. He participated and won many face and body painting competitions in college and made temporary tattoos. He decided to take tattooing on as a profession and acquired professional training from a Spanish artist. With a determined goal, great value system, sheer hardwork, a strong mind and the support of his mother, what started as a general interest in body art turned into owning one of the biggest commercial tattoo parlors in Mumbai! Vikas’s idols have been Dr. Kohiyar and Mr. Shantaram from whom he gained his inspiration. Vikas is a thorough professional and perfectionist. Through the years Vikas has made thousands of tattoos and even more friends.

Micky Malani : Sr. artistic director
Micky started with temporary tattooing and took up many private, fashion, college and corporate events. He later started making permanent tattoos and has been travelling across the globe to polish his skills and attending international tattoo conventions to keep up to date with the latest technology and artwork in the tattoo industry, thus keeping Body Canvas at par with the intl. scene of tattoos. He has attended more than 30 international conventions in places like (Thailand, Bangkok, Phuket, Pataya, Derby, Doncaster, Norwich, Sheffield, Brighton, London, Manchester, Bath, Liverpool etc. and has also trained and worked with brands like Extreme Needles in London.
